Bio

I am an Artist living in Stratford on Avon. I obtained my degree in Fine Art, 6 years ago, as a mature student. I rent a studio at the Artists Workhouse in Studley.

As a painter, I use mostly acrylic paint and mixed media. I am inspired by texture and colour and like to experiment with mark making and layering to create interesting surfaces.

The majority of my work is realistic, but I also like taking a section of an image and enlarging it, abstracting it from reality. I am inspired by the way nature rots and decays objects, and I have enjoyed trying to express this, particularly with my images of old, rotten windows.

More recently I have experimented with still life and landscape, depicted in an impressionist or semi abstract way.

I have been involved in many exhibitions. My work can be seen on Instagram art_bev and my Facebook artbev account.

All my work is for sale.
