Caroline Plunket-Checkemian

Caroline handcrafts jewellery using semi-precious stones, gold vermeil, gold-filled or silver chain

Born in London, I trained in graphic design at Chelsea School of Art and then worked in fashion for iconic British designers; Margaret Howell, Mulberry and Hackett.

I started making jewellery after moving from London to the Oxfordshire countryside with my young family.

The starting point for most of my jewellery is always the stone; the colour, the cut, the shape. After that, my inspiration comes from the natural shapes and forms of the changing seasons.

In addition to bespoke commissions and online my work is available at The Good Place, Chelsea; Limewood House, Hampshire; White Hart Studio, Buckinghamshire and online.
