Artist/Potter, John Hough has been working with clay for twenty years.
Originally from Stratford upon Avon, he now lives in Henley in Arden; having returned to the area after a while potting in Devon.
Although with ambitions to, once again, make wheel-thrown pots, he is able to hand build sculptural vessels and also make “useful pots”, as he says, exploring the bowl form. “At once an abstract but immediately functional form”.
His current body of work is titled “Moon Jars and other Vessels”.
