Sarais Crawshaw was a 2022 Finalist in David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year, and her passion for wildlife paintings, drawings and papercuts shines through her wide range of work.
“As a wildlife artist, I have a passion for watching animals, seeing how they live and behave, and for the wild places where they can be found, both near my home in the countryside near Rugby in Warwickshire, and further afield.
I particularly enjoy visiting Northumberland and Scotland, where the ocean and its wildlife are always an inspiration.
Recently I have been doing a good deal of mixed media paper cut, and this direction is proving challenging but rewarding.”
