I have always enjoyed making things with wood, making with clay came a little later, it seemed natural to combine both skills.
I use reclaimed or found wood, it’s good to find a second life for what is often discarded, it adds to the creative process and unexpected solutions come from it.
All the pots are coiled and pinched to shape and wood-fired to stoneware using predominantly ash and shino glazes.
I have been making pots since the mid 70’s and exhibit and sell my work throughout Europe. Some are held in private collections in Austria, Germany and USA
