Emma Steger at Off My Tree
Emma Steger is a self-taught maker working in and around the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border.
Concerned as many are about the impact we have on our world, Emma uses solely reclaimed, or as she puts it, ‘Found, Foraged and Fallen’ wood, adding no chemicals, plastic or resin to her projects so they can be safely returned to nature.
Emma continues to enjoy the creative challenge of making for her ‘Off My Tree’ homewares range however her current work focuses more on form rather than function, embracing the unpredictability of wood and celebrating imperfection and texture working in a free, unstructured way.
Each piece, like us, has it’s own unique story.
