Ethereal abstract landscapes, inspired by spirituality, humanity and healing
This series of work is called ‘Into The Light’
It has been developing over the last three years and is inspired by our relationship with the universe and the elements within it….the idea of energy, space, time and existential inquiry.
Some people see other worlds.
Some see landscapes either physical or emotional.
Some get a visceral response.
My work uses the accidental mark making of watercolour monotype with the considered application of gold leaf, to create tension, rhythm and energy.
Each piece is unique and unrepeatable and attempts to make visible that which we can only imagine.
