What’s in a name? Discover:Gather:Give Contemporary Arts Festival

We have changed our name to a Festival instead of just a Fair.

A Festival is an event or community gathering, usually staged by a local community, which centers on some theme, sometimes on some unique aspect of the community, typically one held annually in the same place.

#Cafdgg is a Contemporary Arts event, bringing together the unique community of local and regional artists and is held annually in the first weekend of June and November in the historic Town Hall in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Stratford has a proud heritage of supporting the Arts, thanks to William Shakespeare and #Cafdgg wants to widen our appeal to art loving visitors.

Plans are afoot to bring more into #Cafdgg, slowly building our Festival to something really special……
